I love the Kamakura daibutsu. I spent a relatively long time staring at it.

We had the ceremony for our child at the shrine there, too. A magical place.

The Kamakura daibutsu is one of my most favorite spots in Japan! I went there frequently when I was a kid. Apparently, Obama also went there when he was little, and revisited last November.
